US has been trying to repatriate its citizens from across the world to bring them back to their homes. They have been flying special planes to pick up US citizens from across the world. So far the US has repatriated 30,000 citizens from 60 countries via 350 flights. Some US citizens from India have refused to return back to US. The reason has not been declared, but looking at the number of COVID19 cases in US, they are developing cold feet. Also, India repatriated its citizens from various countries without any cost but US agencies are charging USD 2000 per person to bring them back to their country.
