Heather Graham was seen on Sunday morning relaxing at a beach near Los Angeles.

The 52-year-old artist smiled widely and ran along the sand, looking as though she was enjoying her Labor Day holiday.

The Boogie Nights cast member's day at the beach occurred just after she finished filming for a horror film in which she would appear.

The actress posted a screenshot of a Deadline piece along with a brief note to her followers in which she said she had "so much pleasure working on this movie."

The short story The Thing On The Doorstep by H.P. Lovecraft served as a partial inspiration for the film, claims the media source.

Graham will portray a psychiatrist who develops a fixation on one of her patients in the movie.

In a statement to Deadline, producer Barbara Crampton, who will also star in the film, praised Graham's acting prowess.

It was a pleasure working with Amp and the amazing cast of Heather, Judah, Barbara, Bruce, and Johnathon.

We're thrilled that this steamy, humorous, and spooky movie isn't merely a modernised tribute to Lovecraft.

The upcoming release date for the as-yet-untitled horror film has not been disclosed.
